Welcome to our Wonderful EYFS Department. This web-page is your window into your child's daily school life.
In December 2016 Ofsted said "Early years Provision is Good. The thoughtfully planned activities ignite children's curiosity."
We are extremely proud of every child in our department and each member of staff has been hand-picked to ensure that our children receive the best possible start to their education. Our Early Years Ethos is one of calmness, organisation and is underpinned by positive learning behaviours. We have a thirst for learning new things and staff professional development is key to the success of our department.

We sing together,
We make friends together,
We laugh together,
We learn together!
In Acorn Class our Teacher Mrs Walton and our Early Years Practitioners;
Mrs Lally, Mrs Galpin, Mr Pandolfi and Mrs Mahal
plan engaging and exciting experiences for us.
These experiences help us to learn all about The World around us. Important friendships are built which create firm foundations that are continued throughout School.

Thank you to all our nursery parents who came to our Family Breakfast and Family Afternoon Tea. Everyone really enjoyed it and it was lovely to see some many Mummy's and Daddy's there!
Our Family Breakfast and Family Afternoon Tea
We made Gruffalo Crumble.
We have been reading Owl Babies. Thank you to KL Falconry for coming to visit us and showing us their beautiful birds of prey. We met a Burrow owl called Molly, a Hawk called Cody, a Barn Owl called Tilly and a Falcon called Roger.
Look at our owls that we made. They tasted delicious!
Our Topic this half term has been Forests and Woodlands. We visited St. Ives in Bingley and we got quite muddy!
Happy New Year!
Welcome back to a new term in Nursery. This half term our topic is Forests and Woodlands. We will be learning about the different types of animals that live in a Woodland. Nursery children will visit St. Ives Country Park in Harden. To enhance our learning we will have visits from a hedgehog sanctuary and a Falconry exhibit. Look out for another Family Breakfast and Afternoon Tea this term.
This week we have been learning all about Poppies. We used salt dough to roll out and make our own flower.
On Thursday 9th November we welcomed over 40 parents to watch our Nursery 'Dough Disco' session.
